Common, or issue?
I just received my Hamilton Jazzmaster Day/Date, and wound it about 20 turns and it didn't start. The rotor moves a bit when winding, so it's apparently doing something. I gave it the smallest shake and it started running.Thoughts? I would have expected it to start running from the manual winding, but if it's been sitting unused for a while would this be normal?

I bought this watch as a gift for a friend. Sorry didn't have time for photos. But the fit and finish was amazing. It's a very, very nice timepiece at a $200 price. If I could get another, I'd add one to my collection. I was most impressed. Great bracelet and case work.This is the third Philip I've seen in person. 1) My Yeros automatic is great. 2) the solid gold automatic I returned. My relatively new PO died :(
Well I bought my PO from a local AD less than a year ago and something has gone wrong with the winding mechanism.I wear this watch at least 4 days a week at work and usually it will stop on my days of as my PAM 312 gets all the love.I noticed a couple weeks ago it seemed to be stopping within a day of being taken off. Then a few days ago it would no longer stay on through the night after being worn all day.Now it will wind, but it starts and stops sporadically and the crown will slightly roll back the other direction after being wound.I've sent it in for warranty service, but my dealer says it's a 4-6 week turnaround. Any idea what's wrong? I'm just curious as I won't know for almost two months what happened to it :(It's a 2201.5 I think.
