Breguet 5197BA/15/986 wrist watches news:
In 2013, Hublot announced a new partnership with the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team as their official timekeeper and presumably watchmaking partner. At the same time, Hublot announced a watch collaboration with Lakers star player Kobe Bryant and watches-dealer went hands-on with the Hublot King Power Black Mamba limited edition watch for Kobe Bryant here. For 2014, Hublot now releases a watch exclusively for the team with the Hublot King Power Los Angeles Lakers timepiece.Swiss watch brands Hublot and Audemars Piguet have for a while been competing over visibility when it comes to attracting American basketball fans with the resources to purchase high-end luxury watches. Back in 2011, I discussed the beginning of what was a turf war for the best basketball teams and personalities between Hublot and Audemars Piguet. While Audemars Piguet has players such as LeBron James on their ambassador roster, Hublot has people like Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant. Interestingly enough, while both b
Bremont's limited edition historical pieces have become a hallmark of the brand since they first launched the EP120 in 2010. Today, at the London Science Museum, Bremont announced their latest limited edition watch, the Bremont Wright Flyer, which boasts the inclusion of not only a piece of the first successful powered flying machine, but also Bremont's first in-house movement. As a young brand with a deep passion for aviation, the Bremont Wright Flyer is a huge announcement for Bremont and a fitting platform for the launch of a new caliber that they refer to as their first manufacture movement. After seeing last year's Codebreaker and its impressive integration of a number of historical elements, we all wondered what Bremont could do to take this concept to a new level. Now in its fifth generation, the Bremont LEs are an excellent introduction to the brand and with the new Bremont Wright Flyer, the brand has returned to the original formula of paying tribute to a legend from the histor

Just received my new SKX009, but never really liked how thin their Jubilee bracelets are. Picked up a President style, and not only is it thicker than the Jubilee style but it's also less of a hair grabber. Gotta change it out which is surprisingly easy so here's a few pictures along the way.First, I popped open the Jubilee at the clasp to make it easier to get at the springbars on the lugs.Off with the old.......and on with the new - first attaching the end links to the bracelet........then attaching each end to the case.Looking good so far! Now to reattach the two ends of the bracelet at the clasp andoops! A little too large even on the last micro-adjustment.A quick pop off of one link on the 6:00 side and voila!Close up! (dust and fingerprints included, no extra charge )
I am new to the world of watch collecting, etc. new to forum also. I recently purchased a ¡®lot¡¯ of watches from an estate sale, including a couple of gruen¡¯s, a longines, an empire? and an old looking Benrus that was made either for a very petite woman or adolescent female. I have not had any luck in researching its origins. I will include the pics that I have taken, but what I know so far the number on the outside back of the case seems to be irrelevant, there is a hand etched number on the inside of the back of the case, believe it is W-764-V-, on the inside of the fixed white gold band it reads ¡°BENRUS 1/6 10K GF¡± it appears that there are two small diamonds, one on the top of the bezel and one on the bottom. can anyone help me with this?
