H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon Watch
Have you ever noticed how fickle your own tastes can be? I don't like to admit it; I like to think of myself as a very decisive and principled guy, but sometimes my own volatility amazes me. The new H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon didn't grab me at first. I thought it was fine ¨C a solid design with some admirably artisanal features (check out that delicious fum¨¦ dial) ¨C but it did not blow my socks off. Not even a DLC coated titanium case that makes what should be a classic design somehow contemporary won me over. No, the thing that got me excited was a hidden hand. And then I started to notice all the other things I like about the watch, how it reminds me of one of my sneaky all-time favourites, the Bvx from Bottega Veneta, and how it sets out to satisfy a bold design brief and comes away with a smug smile on its face.This watch is not just a tourbillon. Dropped my new Seiko Solar watch!
Talk about dumb luck! I just bought a new Seiko Solar 100M today and dropped the bag with the watch still in the box onto the garage floor while trying to get my house keys. It dropped about 2 feet onto concrete. The packaging looked none the worse for wear and the watch is runningI can't see any damage that is visible. What do you all think the chances are of it being undamaged? Will the seiko box protect it enough? I sure hope I didn't throw my money away!

Does anyone know when the balance spring changed from Breguet to Spiromax? I've got a very late 2013 5980/1a and wondered whether this would have the silicon balance spring?

Bringing rolex(s) back from Mexico?
Hi everyone. Thanks for the help ahead of time. I¡¯m traveling to Mexico next week and may want to bring back one maybe two rolexes. From what I understand, rolex USA allows for the importation of one rolex back into the USA. Does anyone know if this is per individual or household? For instance, if I put one in my name and one in my wife¡¯s name, is that ok?
