Any info on this Gruen?
This watch was left to my wife. It was either her grandfathers or his sons. As most of you know it can be tough to find info on the Gruen. And for some reason, it is even harder to find info on this Gruen then most of the others, just my luck. I have searched all over and can't even find a pic that matches this watch. Does anyone know anything about this particular watch. There are many groups of numbers stamped and engraved inside the back cover. Some of the things stamped and engraved are: 10K Starwatch Casecomp 21 Jewels, Veri Thin, engraved 01-10-14-EE, 10435 R 12-2, 27966, stamped 0667840, 335-652. I really don't know what any of the numbers mean. Does anyone know anything about this particular watch. Maybe some history, age, value, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Questions about Patek deployant buckles
I see some of the older PP5960 come with the chevron buckle and the newer ones with the Calatrava cross. Besides aesthetics was there a reason for the switch? What year did Patek make the switch. Thanks!
