Breguet 8918BB58J39D00D wrist watches news:
image.jpgHi I have a 1967 Brietling Top Time 2002, the watch works fine apart from the crown has to be held out while setting the time or else it pops back in. I guess this sounds rather trivial but it is a bit of a pain when your trying to set the time. Last time I had the watch looked at the jeweller told me that the setting lever spring, also known as the bolt plate spring was broken & that unfortunately the part was obsolete. In hindsight I should have asked the watch repairer what movement /calibre is fitted to the watch, and unfortunately due to the way that the 2002 model is put together it is not possible to simply pop the back off as everything has to be fitted into the case from the front with the glass/ crystal being the last to be fitted. After doing a bit of homework it seems that some some Top Times were fitted with Venus 178 & 188 movements and some with Valjoux 7730 movements, apparently Valjoux had taken over the Venus company sometime in the mid 1960's.Have fo
I found a watch in a park few days ago and I'm wondering how much could it worth. Its been a hour that I'm looking for informations on google and there no pictures or details about that watch. Here's a picture I took:The number on the back is 9812Can someone help me?(sorry about my bad english)thanks,Dave.
I have been following the Swatch thread. Can anyone tell us if and where Victorinox fits in here. They seem to stil have access to some of the Eta movements some other companies no longer enjoy. This piques my curiosity. Thnks for any informative responses.
Does anyone happen to have the email address for AP CEO Francois Bennahmias? I'm not selling anything. I would just like to write him an email about the AP watches I own. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates always read their own email. I'm hoping that Mr. Bennahmias does as well.
Following on Gus foot steps... what do you guys think? Blue all the way?
