IWC 3715-012 wrist watches news:
Omega 2.JPGOmega 3.JPGHi i¡äm new to this so first of all i¡äd like to say hi to everyone. I just have been present with an vintage omega bumper automatic. The thing is that i¡äm trying to find out which model and the year it was made but couldn¡ät find anything. Looked for pictures at internet and found similar models but not quite the same as the one i¡än showing you. I would like to know which omega model is this and the year it might have been made. It looks like a bumper but don¡ät know for sure. also found a lot of pictures of similar seamaster models. Any differences betwwen this model i¡äm showing and a seamaster of the same time???.Well sorry for bothering you with so many questions but i¡äm ansious to know something more about my new watch. Thanks again,Adolfo
Most vintage watches from the 1920's-1930's (especially Hamiltons) came on a tan (sometimes brown, black, or dark gray) pigskin strap. But some of my vintage watches just look "right" with the straps I've selected, and I can't imagine any other strap on them. Style, color, texture, stitching are all things to be considered, IMO. I can't remember what thread it was but I recall seeing someone mention about AP opening a boutique in London, does anyone happen to know when they plan on doing this? No to be mistaken for the APSC in London which I know you can buy the limited edition and novelty pieces from.
Well, the obsession with AP is never ending. I told myself after the orange ceramic diver in december no more!...lo and behold, two more incomings since. and now...a THIRD for the year. (I have issues, clearly )well, I am waiting on my 2014 grail to arrive sometime in late July or early August from AP's NY boutique (thanks to my buddy Texex91 who did some SERIOUS enabling), BUT, in the meantime this is something to hold me over...It's an H serial and it was a daily wearer for my friend who I purchased it from so it definitely shows some wear but for me that's a good thing. I tend to baby watches that are new and flawless too much. (it was too good a deal to pass up anyways). LOVE how well it wears with casual clothing. You can't go wrong with it!
Hi All¡ not long ago someone posted a video about the thoughts/ engineering / fabrication of the B01 movement in the Chronomat. Does anyone have the link for that vid? I can't seem to find it through search here¡Thanks..:-)
