Breguet 3657pt/12/9v6 wrist watches news:
countdown begin..???I'm sure lots of folks, (me included) are waiting...;);)
Hi everyone, I'm looking into buying from my first AP - a 15400. I have a few other watches (Rolex, Panerai, Ulysse Nardin, etc), but this will definitely be my biggest purchase.I'm curious to learn more about going with a TFF dealer who typically offer the 2+1 year warranty versus the AP Boutique's 5-year warranty. The boutique told me that 5-year warranty covers the first service, which typically runs around $1300. Is that service really necessary within the first 5 years? Rolex recommends the first service after 10 years.Anything else I should be aware of? Is adjusting the bracelet myself relatively simple? There are only two ADs near me. Once has terrible customer service so I won't even bother going there, and the other will be bummed I didn't buy from them, so I'd rather do it myself if I don't go through the boutique.
Found this funny pic and thought I would share, I only have 2 watches but the members who have a few could maybe make pyramids and post them here, like this we could do a pyramid contest Photo-Apr-03-10-01-15-AM.jpg
Hi All, I noticed the Galactic 36 blue dial is Gun Blue whereas the 41 is Metallica Blue. Has anyone seen these side by side?Do you have a dial in either of these 2 colours you can post a pic of? If you happen to go to an AD, can you take a look & snap a pic of either one? LOLThere are 2 AD's near me & neither have either of these in stock. The one saleslady & her co-worker brought out 2 watches, each with different blue dials telling me that the galactic was somewhere between this one & that one. Ya...ok. She seemed put off when I said I wasn't going to spend that kind of money & not see it. Idiot. Then I said...I can buy a Rolex for this money. She didn't appreciate the comment. I followed that up with, I was able to try on & visually look at the Rolex not have 2 salespeople estimate the colour of the dial. Anyway...just curious if anyone can keep an eye out for these 2 if they should pop in to an AD.
Might be slightly out of date. List was printed 03.2014... was a bit in a hurry and scanner broke; had to take pics and didnt manage to rotate the last two... but I think you guys will manage
