Breguet 3810ST/92/SZ9 wrist watches news:
We were super excited about the Anstead Oceanis kickstarter that happened a few months ago. We thought; finally, someone is using kickstarter to fund a watch that isn't a piece of tech, but rather a well-designed and affordable watch with styling we can get behind. The Oceanis is a bit vintage, a bit tactical and all around masculine and rugged. The technical dial is balanced beautifully by the steel bezel that sports a fierce, but practical toothed edge. Best of all, it's an auto powered by a Seiko NH36a movement that costs about $400. It goes without saying that we'll be giving it the w&w review treatment soon enough, but we thought that the look of this watch beckoned for a PWW as well. So, we tasked Mr. Dexter Austria with pairing the Anstead Oceanis with an outfit of similar inspiration. Military influence is at the core of each piece in one-way or another, and the outfit comes together to be handsome and a touch edgy.1. Anstead Oceanis2. Rolltop in Olive Waxed Twill by Archiva
Hello, I must admit, I just joined the forums minutes ago. I have come because my father recently passed away and left me this watch (amongst others). I've searched this and many other websites and I could not find its vintage or value. I am not looking to sell it as it has sentimental value, I just would like to know what I have. The back is engraved and says 14k, it winds up and ticks away very nicely.Thank you ahead of time,Andrea
i bought this watch at an estate auction. I know its a Hamilton 14k whit gold with 25g total weight and .75 ct throughout the band and the watch face, it also has a "safety chain" origional to the watch; it is quite petite and extremely beautiful the estimated time it was made was around 30's-50's lol precise right? i found similar looking models called the "ladies Hamilton" or a "silvia" but not any that look the same.I find some with with similar dimensions and the same gold and diamond weights go for over 2k but that might be becuase its a rare or beautiful watch with or without the gold and stones. Either way im considering selling it but i want to know everything i can before trying to go talk to a jeweler; i couldnt scrap it.
Does Orbita sell replacement cushions? One of mine is uncoated; it's tattered, and might not last much longer. The coated ones have cracks in the finish, and are becoming unsightly. The winders are going strong, but the cushions are starting to show their age.I'd even be interested in generic replacements if they're a good fit.
IMG_3180.JPGHello fellow TRF membersI was at my AD yesterday and he had these two Tudor watches sitting in his case. I never looked at Tudor but the colors grabbed my attention then when I did some research I found how sought after they areI like both watches equally, which one is more sought after and what kinda discount (if any) should I look for?Thank you for input!
