hi gang,i moved out of manhattan a couple of months ago so partying in nyc is not as easy as rolling out of bed.took a few pics of my trip into manhattan to trade for medicines and to get word of the modern world a couple of saturdays agoi now live in westport, ct about 30 miles north of manhattan.happy holidays!!!clwaiting for my train from westport/greens farms to grand central terminal...wrist shot while waiting for the train...arriving at grand central terminal midtown manhattan...walking up fifth ave. midtown...the rock...hope and a prayer at st. patrick's...what have you gained if gained the world but lost your soul...a giant present...daydate II's, i covet this platinum watch badly!!!!lobby lounge at the peninsula hotel having cocktails before heading to dinner...double dssd wrist shot...if you stand in this spot long enough the world will walk by...the bar at the blue fin waiting for a table for sushi dinner...arriving back in westport...view the next morning from my bedroom th

Hi Everyone:In the early part of baseball history, watches were given as awards, not rings as are commonly given today. It is believed that Baseball Commissioner Kennesaw Mountain Landis (the same K. M. Landis that suspended Shoeless Joe Jackson regarding the Black Sox scandal) started the tradition with the Yankee Piping Rock in 1928. There were a total of 35 made - one for each player (there were a total of 30 players in total), the team manager, the team owner and the team captain and one was made for Kennesaw Mountain Landis, who as the first commissioner of baseball, presented the watch to the '28 Yankee champions on Opening Day, 1929. The 1927 and 1928 Yankee teams were known as "Murderer's Row" and they are often considered the greatest baseball teams that ever existed. Would you flip a Lange WG Perpetual Calendar for a PP 5146g with enough funds leftover to acquire either a 5164 Travel Time or 5712-1A. There would still be approx $6k coming back to me. I should mention that I have owned the Aquanaut 5164 and 5712-1a in the past. I am also well aware of the fact that this is a PP forum. All 4 pcs mentioned here are in indistinguishable-from-new condition.
