Breitling A1736402/BA28 wrist watches news:
A colleague will sell this watch for 300€.How do you think about genuinity? How do you think about the price? Thanks for your help!
So, it got me to thinking about my Deville co-axials. By the way, I am no master of Photoshop so what you see is pretty much what the camera captured. It was a very enjoyable experience to play around like this. You may know there is a calibre 2500B and 2500C, which differed in the B version being 8 beats per second/28,800 and the C being 7 beats a second/25,200. The Deville above is a 2500B and runs at 8 beats a second, which you can see at higher magnification.A half second exposure is a little easier to see:I like this one, but should have cleaned the watch better!!Next I tried to get my Deville GMT, which has a 2628C, running at 7 beats a second/25,200 and the Deville above set to the same time and get a photo of both second hands with a one second exposure. Another shotClose ups of each hand, 7 beat 2628C GMT on left, 8 beat 2500B on the rightBefore moving on, I just loved the lighting on the blued second hand on the 2500BSo, what about chronographs?5 beat a second/18,000 1940s L
I'm sorry to make two threads about incoming watches but this one generated quite a commotion and I wanted to make it its own thread so you could tell me more about it.This is my first bumper watch! It is so VERY cool. It is very heavy and crashes around. It makes me laugh and I love it.Here are pictures of the watch and more importantly the elusive movement inside. This might be one of the coolest watches I've ever owned in my life! I am shocked at how clean the watch and movement are!Its pretty skinny for weighing 9827lbs SmallBumper!475Some other numbers that might be importantI hope it was worth all the hype.
How about sharing stories of great eBay (or any) deals? I have several...The first was for a 1930 14K yellow gold Hamilton Cambridge with total production of 209 (and only 357 in 14K white gold). At that time I had been collecting for about two years and knew the model, knew it was very low production, and had never seen one listed previously. It had a Buy it Now price of $750 - coincidently the price listed in Shugart's watch price guide at that time. I came upon the listing just a few minutes after it posted and immediately bought it and paid with Paypal. After confirming it had been shipped a day or so later, I then emailed a few very serious Hamilton collectors and asked what they would be willing to pay for a Cambridge. The first one said $5000 and the second one said he had paid $3500 for a white one two years prior and would definitely pay more for a yellow one. I look forward to wearing it every time it comes up in the rotation. 1930 Hamilton CambridgeThe next deal is a
