- I liked the looks of the watch and the reviews. I was not disappointed. Awesome looks, weight and feel and grabs lots of compliments. My only dismay is 10 days later the price was dropped.

Longines L4.291.8.21.2 wrist watches news:
Hey guys just wondering about the different rankings under everyones name, i.e. I'm a new member, than there is veteran member, junior veteran, god like veteran and so on. When does the status change? Can my transcripts be transfered from other forums to this one?
Post them here!(And no doubt Dennis ("ulackfocus") will pop along soon to remind us to copy each post to the Incoming thread in the General forum....)
I have the chance to buy my first Breitling, which I've mentioned elsewhere on this forum. I was going to do some reconnaissance in the Caribbean, but I have the opportunity to buy a lightly used Breitling for Bentley GMT from a friend who is a dealer. He bought it from the original owner who wore it 5-6 times and he inspected it thoroughly before acquiring it. My question to the group...assuming it is in pristine condition (which it appears to be), is $5K a good price for it? I was considering a new navitimer, but a Bentley at this price seems to be too good to pass up....is it?
Hello all, I would like to purchase my first Hamilton wrist watch and am looking for advice on what I should consider. To be more specific I would like. something vintage, earlier then 1970 under $1200 If I could afford it I would go for a piping rock, white gold. Aaron Faber had a beautiful one I checked out but at $3200, it was just out of my range right now. I am also considering some Gruens and Elgins but that is another thread for another time. So what are your favorites? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Chris
I haven't been as excited about a watch in quite a while..But this one I really like. Quite a simple watch...2824-2 ETASaphire crystal, and I really like the clean dial with large applied numbers and "gear cog" bezel..SS bracelet with rubber coated center links...The crown guard is one that really attracted me to this piece (crown pulled out for this shot)...Probably not for everyone...Case is a 40mm but plays larger because of the guard 42mm inc guard , 45mm incl crown...Butta on the wrist !
