Breitling A17364-108 wrist watches news:
At Baselworld 2010 DeWitt debuted their first in-house movement – Caliber DW8014. This year the movement will appear in an all-new watch, the Twenty-8-Eight Regulator A.S.W. The automatic-winding movement boasts notable technical features at each end of the gear train. The mainspring is wound by a bi-directional peripheral rotor that allows an unobstructed view of the movement. The mainspring itself incorporates DeWitt’s patented Automatic Sequential Winding (A.S.W.) system which allows the single barrel to distribute constant energy to the gear train while delivering a 72 hour power reserve. At the other end, a Straumann balance spring with a Phillips terminal curve powers deadbeat seconds that are in direct contact with the tourbillon cage.Outside, the watch pays tribute to Art D¨¦co design, and in particular to 1930s New York. The 46 mm round case is made of 18 carat rose gold. The multi-layer dial is dominated by a four-column vertical structure with the tourbillon at it

OK, it's time I identified my grail. I don't just mean my wishlist, I already have one of those!! (Note to self - update wishlist!!) But a grail - something I really really need to save for and search for (probably won't be able to buy new). So, I need to find one that is attainable, reasonable, and most of all, desirable!!. Update: I would also prefer to have the date on it as well. What I want is a dress style of watch. A white, silver or black face. Some complications but not too many. A black strap. I have stolen some pics from Donut (thanks Robb!!) to illustrate what I am after.Ok, this one is probably being a bit silly. I expect that this will be way out of my budget. But I would love to own a Patek Phillipe! This VC is beautiful! It has everything I am after. A beautiful dial, great craftsmanship, some complications. Any ideas on price for a pre-loved? And comments? Update - I just noticed it does not have a date. I would prefer having the date, but it is not a show stopper.I thin
I am new to watch collecting - need some opinions. I am trying to decide between a B&M 8797 Riviera XXL Chronograph strap watch and the Xetum. Understand they are different styles, but both caught my eye and am curious if anyone can educate me on the better product. Thanks
Geneva hand selected A 5990 for me and it came in. The entire reason for them to hand select one for me was to make sure I had no problems with the watch that I have previously had. But bad news before it even got to me. HSWA said that the watch had some scratches on it. HSWA NY received it, saw some scratches through the plastic sealed bag and opened it to give it some extra QC before sending it to me. Keep in mind, this 4th replacement 5990 I am receiving was hand selected special for me, unlike the others that were just sent to me without any extra QC from Geneva. HSWA NY noticed before taking the watch out of the sealed package that there is one deep scratch by the clasp which I can feel with my nail, its deep... and other lighter scratches around the clasp area. They sent me pictures.HSWA NY sent the watch to me so I could personally inspect it to see if I could live with it. Otherwise I can send it back no questions asked. There is also a very small blemish on the dial that I can
