?I?have been wearing the?Tsovet SVT-FW44 for about three months, and there’s a lot I like about this watch. ?Its simple, clean design, bright blue hands, and?distinct?case help it stand out while maintaining classic styling. ?Lets first dig into the features of the watch and a bit about the company that makes it.Case: 316l Matte Stainless SteelMovement: Ronda 513 Swiss Quartz MovementSub/Dial/S: Silver Bdl/W Black MarkersLens: Hardened Mineral CrystalCase Back: 316l Matte Stainless SteelStrap: Italian Calf LeatherBuckle: 316l Matte Stainless SteelWater Res. : 10atm (100m/300f)Dimensions: 44mm x 12.65mmWarranty: 2 YearsThe SVT-FW44’s design is inspired by the WW1 infantryman’s field watch. ?It features a simple face, with no hour markers, but instead displays minute markers where the hour markers typically appear. ?The hands are a metallic royal blue?with?luminescent?filling, and?are offset against the clean white of the face. ? As a beater. I bought one new from Harbor Freight tools circa 1998 for $18. Definitely cheap, but ran surprisingly well. Think I gave it away a few years later. They're closer to $70 now, but I kinda want one again for the novelty. Any pressing reason I should stay away from them? ;-)Thanks!Chris
I have an AP RO 15300 with BLU dial, year 2009 complete with box and papers. I am tempted to sell it to finance another big watch, but seeing its continuous increase in value I am not convinced anymore. Should I keep it? Thank you!
Looking to add a chronograph in my collection, and speedy really caught my attention. I am average wristed, a 40-44mm looks ok to me, if anyone can just post a wristshot, it will be great for me to imagine on how it will look on my wrist since i cant try one on due to theres no omega AD near my area. And one more, is the speedy pro manual wind more desireable compared to other speedy models? Please, enlight me on this.Thanks.Andri
I was passing my AD today and so thought I¡¯d pop in for a coffee and a chat..He brought out 2 pieces to show me.. one was a 5711 blue dial which I¡¯ve never tried on before - Not avail to buy but he also brought out a steel 5164 which was for sale.. we chatted about it and I was tempted but in the end when side by side with my 5167r I decided either it wasn¡¯t the right next Patek for me or at least not today..Was I right?Deal was List priceI think had it been a piece that was going up by 20% then it would def have been more likely going home with me.. but as it was I just felt that it didn¡¯t sing to me in the way my RG one did...
