Due to the information provided in the following member roninpa post, I have pulled this post in its entirety.I apologize for any information in my narrative and photos that have been quickly stated as being incorrect. I hope that you understand. While I could comment about the differences in the following member post, suffice it to say that I never intended to give incorrect production number information, I just summarized what I have read in other authorities without quoting any of the sources. Additionally, as to the comments about the cases not being original to the watches, i.e., that Hamilton never cased a movement in some of the cases shown, that statement is no doubt correct. When collecting these vintage pocketwatches, some beautiful examples obviously have been recased, but they still do not limit a love for the beauty and the fact that the case, movement, dial and hands are all in wonderful condition and worthy of display. Help me choose a new watch
I currently wear a Rolex Submariner with Blue face & bezel. I have owned it for about 12 years and never take it off. I am looking to sell it and get something new. I have been looking at Black chronographs with either black ceramic or a darker stainless bands. I have looked at Michael Kors and Emporio Armani AR1421 and like the look, but I want a better made watch since I wear it everyday.I am looking to spend up to $1500. I appreciate all your help since I have been out of the watch market for a while.

Anyone watch the 50 years Beatles Grammy special?
Ringo Star was sporting the aquanaut... I do not know why a lot of people are knocking the 5167 down as a entry level patek and telling people NOT to buy them. I think ringo can afford more then a entry level patek but he still sports one.. I also belive is old band mate sir Paul also has one, so if it, is good enough for the Beatles it should be good enough for 99% of people out there..
