A friend of mine did a funny thing. He bought himself a new iPod Nano - the 6th generation one that everyone has been wearing like a watch - and started to bling it out. Kenneth Tong is the type of guy who does this sort of thing. A fan of diamonds and other shiny precious things, he would never have just worn the iPod Nano like a watch the "normal" way on a NATO strap on in one of those cheap silicone things you can buy. Everyone out there, im loving this forum! been said before in many newbie threads but this is the ultimate place for info so i thought id ask a question regarding an upcoming and first big dollar watch purchase for me.I live in Australia and have priced the Omega Speedmaster Pro with the sapphire case front and back (mod 3573.50.00)- here i can get it duty free for $3800 Ausd or about $3200 USD.Im travelling to the USA in 17 days and am not sure whether it will be worth waiting and buying when im there. If there will be no saving i would prefer and feel safer buying here before i leave.Any advice/recommendations/past experience with dealers in the US. Btw- i will be visiting LA, Vegas, Washington DC, NYC and San Fran.Thank youChris

I recently saw the 5204R at an AD, although I didn't get a chance to try it on the wrist due to time constraints.What are your thoughts on this watch? I have tried on the 5204P white and black dials before and although the RG looks nice on the 5270, it didn't seem as warm on the 5204. Maybe it is something to get used to as the 5204R is such a new watch.Here is a stock photo from the Patek website. When I saw the watch in person behind the glass display it didn't stand out as much as the stock photo.

Straps for the Daytona C
So the Daytona C is a fantastic watch. Had it with a black dial, which in my eyes was missing some contrast (or something) to make it even a little legible. The ¡°Polar Daytona¡± is a whole other ball game, and could become a keeper-until-the-ref116519LN is within reach :-)Now, my SD 116600 is on its natural born bracelet, I want to be able to put my Daytona on a strap.I got the great Smarty End Links, but any ideas on straps (and clasps and/ or buckle!?)Here is some of my attemps so far:Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
