At Baselworld 2015, Bell & Ross had another update to the model: the BR-X1 Carbone Forg¨¦, which shows off the chronograph in a striking new case design.True to its name, the new edition of the BR-X1 comes in a forged-carbon case. The case retains the signature shape of its ancestor, the BR-01. It is square at its base with a round dial. The case diameter is 45 mm. Been bitten by the AP bug...
Ok guys, I've recently seen the Diver in person and am kind of hooked. I'm surprised; I have rather small wrists and am not into larger watches but the diver... my god I don't know what it was...Anyway, I'm thinking about selling my Rolex Hulk (don't tell the guys on the Rolex boards ) and putting the money toward a white Diver.Maybe this infatuation will wear off, I don't know. But for now I'd like some more knowledge about the quality and service of AP as I've never owned one before:1. How robust is the movement? I like my watches to be able to take anything I throw at them and have heard good things about AP but how do they compare movement-wise to a Rolex or even Omega calibre?2. How are service costs? I've heard horrid things about AP service, and don't know how true they are. If anybody has any stories regarding service experience and cost I would love to hear them.3. What kind of price should I be looking at paying? If buying at an AD, can I expect any possible discount on the w

Finally after the trials and tribulations of nearly being caught with a fake...Bought from authorised omega service centre, the photos don't do it justice, paid a little more than I intended to from the start but I have a 12 months warranty and documentation, it's kept perfect time over 15 hours (using Time is on my iPad) .....just got to get the fit right (took me 3 visits to the AD with my Rolex GMT), to be used for daily wear so that's the collection finished and sorted........yea of course ( my wife's words)😄After 30 years in the waiting.......GMT IIc
