Historical Perspectives: The IWC Ceramic Fliegerchronograph Reference 3705, A Look Back At A Rare Modern IWC
One of the rarest and most interesting IWC watches of the last few decades is one that a lot of newer IWC clients and fans might not even have heard of: the long out-of-production reference 3705, ceramic cased “Fliegerchronograph” or Pilot’s Chronograph. The Fliegerchronograph was first introduced by IWC in 1994 (a follow-on from an almost completely forgotten hybrid quartz-mechanical watch, the 36 mm “Pilot’s Watch Chronograph,” which debuted at the Dübendorf Airfield, near Zurich, all the way back in 1988). The ceramic cased "Fliegerchronograph Keramik" 3705 was introduced in the same year as the standard stainless steel version, reference 3706. I have a Seiko SKX173 that I love the look and size of. It seems to be a perfect fit for my wrist and my lifestyle. The only issue that I have come across is that I am not sure that I am supposed to tell time with it. The thing gains a minute a day. In a week, I am early to everything. I am about to throw it out the window. Any ideas on what I can do before I go postal on it?B

Hi allI have a Breitling Chronomat Mosquito February 2003 it's .24/60 with all papers and in original box. Including both RAF model aircraft and signatures...it's in perfect condition. I bought from Goldsmiths in Trafford CentreI would like a Blackbird.. Not the special edition one...Without red details if possibleBut having no luck so far as dealers are reluctant to offer me a price as its such a rare model.Dealer in Scarborough I visited suggest this forum as a way forward...I can post images of watch, if I knew how?Regards

tighter spec than COSC with -2/+2. For my past watches with 31XX generation movement, timekeeping over certain days deviate average of 0-2 seconds which is superb compared to rest of the brand but daily deviation around 3-4 seconds sometimes depending on rest position and power reserve.The newer movement (at least for the Sky D), is consistently 0 Sec deviation EVERY day for past 2 months, regardless of resting position. What sorcery is this??
