Audemars Piguet has released a new take on one of its most popular model, the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar. The latest iteration follows the release of the last QP wristwatch in 2012 with an upgraded and upsized movement, a slightly more complicated display, clearer dial, and larger case size. All details below. 1 OF 6 The Reference 26574.1220 comes in four different versions, two in stainless steel and two in rose gold with either a navy blue or silvered "Grande Tapisserie" dial. Due to the enlarged case size (now 41mm up from 39mm), the dial and its indications are more legible. Hey guys. So I currently have a 4 watch Rolex collection. Wasn¡¯t expecting it to get this crazy so two have to go according to the old ladies orders (and me coming to my senses)Here is what I currently have. Please pay attention to key points for each 14060M (Z serial):This is the only one I have with full kit. It is also in the best shape out of the 4 and completely unpolished5513 (1975):This is a watch I¡¯ve always loved and wanted. Also has a rare mk2 long 5 insert and came with a pre 63 7206 rivet bracelet (not pictured). No box or papers 16710 (N serial)Just love the patina markers on this. And it¡¯s a coke GMT which is badass. Original box but no papers (the dial has some slight signs of bubbling)16570 (L serial BIRTH YEAR)This has no box but original warranty papers. I¡¯d say this would be the first to go but It is my birth and I feel like I¡¯d regret it. Plus the patina is niceSo out of the two! Which would be keepers and which would you let go of! Hi,this is my first thread here. I plan to buy my first Rolex this year, but I¡äm not sure what type. I¡äm not yet so common with the market. Maybe some of the experienced fans and collectors here can give me some useful ideas.My ideas and wishes so far:1)new watch (=not used)2)able to keep the value or at least not to loose much (I have found some opinions, that f.e. the new Cellinis will only destroy money)I like the new Cellini Moonphase, but I don¡ät know, if it can keep the price, or a completely different watch, the expensive Daydate. This is a classic model, but probably it will be always a traditional Rolex with a nice value.Any ideas for me?Thanks!Peter
