I have a hard time resisting a watch that was given as a Christmas presentor any watch that was given with love. I have several very nice engravings but not all have dates. Here are my specific Christmas watches. What ones do you have?
For those that follow the Farmers' Almanac, or those just interested in Full Moon names, January is the month of the Full Wolf Moon. For myself, in the EST zone, the Full Moon will be at its' apex at 22:27 EST [10:27 pm] tonight. Here's what it says about the meaning behind the January Wolf Moon, taken from the Farmers' Almanac...Full Wolf Moon - January: Amid the cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. Some called it the Full Snow Moon, but most tribes applied that name to the next Moon. The time often used by world astronomers and observatories, for a Full Moon or phases, is more often seen as UTC, UST, GMT [Greenwich] or ZULU [military] Time. That time this month is as follows, as taken from the U.S. Naval ObservatoryAstronomical Applications Department - Phases of the Moon:2009 Phases of the MoonUniversal TimeFull MoonJan 1

About to buy my first Rolex!I am considering a sub (silver bracelet/black face), explorer I, and datejust (oyster bracelet with either blue or black face with stick markers). It would be a daily wearer. I wear suits quite a bit (trimmer cut/narrow lapel look) and on the weekends either athleisure wear or jeans/Black v-neck tees. I wear a lot of navy, grey and black with an occasional pop of color. I have a 7 inch wrist and would never make it as a bouncer. I¡¯m old enough to know better but young enough to occasionally ignore that advice and do it anyway. Budget would be high 5s to low 8s. Of course anything cheaper would but great and I could probably justify a bit more for the right deal. I would hope in all instances to get box, papers, and watch in fairly great shape. I like the sub because it is such an icon and it speaks to me. And I dive. But I¡¯m not sure I want a diver for a daily wear in the office. I have a Vostok Amphibia that I dive with already and if that breaks o
