C3H5N3O9 Experiment ZR012 Watch In Black Zirconium
Last year Max Busser of MB&F was telling me about the C3H5N3O9 mini watch brand before it was debuted later in June of 2012. He didn't mention it by name, but did say that it was going to be a collaborative project between his team at MB&F and their colleagues at Geneva-based watch brand Urwerk. Together they were going to experiment on a watch designed by them both, under a new brand name, that was going to be marketed purely by word of mouth. That means no advertising whatsoever, and no media outreach (aside to select places such as watches-dealer). The irony to me is that given their desire for the C3H5N3O9 to be spread via word-of-mouth, they sure gave it a difficult enough name to remember. "Yea man, there is this new limited edition watch by MB&F and Urwerk. I don't recall the name, but it is the molecular name for nitroglycerine." Imagine a dozen more conversations starting like that. Hi everybody,Having been a Rolex wearer for many years, I have now fallen in love with IWC. Actually this happened years ago but I'm only now in a position to buy one. I'm heading to Hong Kong next month for that very purpose - an early Christmas present to myself.Now, I'm really looking for wise guidance. My questions are these:I really want an IWC Pilot Chronograph, but don't have a big wrist - the 42mm may be too big as the top of my wrist from beginning one curve to the other is about 50mm. What's your opinion?I've read somewhere that the older version was around 39mm - How much are these going for nowadays and does anybody recommend a good place for second hand IWC's in Hong Kong?

Good Evening...I'm new here, and I have to say how excited I am to have found a really cool site/forum dedicated to watches. I've always loved watches, and while I don't have the wallet to purchase some of the higher priced brands, I don't think there's anything wrong with admiring them. I have a lot of other expensive hobbies (motorcycles, guitars, electronics, computers, guns)...and watches have always taken a bit of a back seat. Still..I do own a few nice watches. I recently purchased an ESQ (have no idea what model, and I will post pics eventually)...Same goes for a Bullova that I was given a few years back as a gift. I've got a number of other relatively cheap watches...but I still like them.In any event...I'm going to get to the point of my post. I hope I'm posting in the correct forum...if not, I do apologize...and I hope someone can steer me in the right direction.So my father passed away last year, and I inherited a few watches. One, in particular, is a quality piece.

President Bracelet on a 16238?
It is my understanding that Rolex has never offered any 36-mm models other than the Day-Date with a President bracelet. So imagine my surprise when I saw an E-series 16238 with a President's bracelet. I figure it has to be an aftermarket bracelet or a post-sale swap.But the bracelet fits the head like it was made for it. No unsightly gaps; it looks like the end pieces were made for the 16238. And the bracelet appears genuine, and it has the proper hallmarks. I assume this is an after-sale swap. Does that make sense? Or is this one of those non-catalog/special order deals? Occam's Razor says the former, but I figure individuals on this board have more knowledge.
