- It has been decades sense I have found a watch that fits my wrist. I have a hard time getting any to fit, so I did not wear one for a long time, but this one will do just fine.

- A nice looking watch, but I find that it doesn't keep time as well as other watches I have owned. It gains about 10 minutes every few days.

Breitling AB014012-G712SS wrist watches news:
Hi everyone,My dad has an old Omega Seamaster sitting in his closet that he says he hasn't worn in over 10 years. I've never been much of a watch person but I figured I could put it to use Can somebody help me identify which model it is? It's not terribly old. From what I've read about the the serial numbers, it was probably made in 94 (so I think that predates the bond series models, right?). It has a blue face, says "Seamaster" in script. "Professional" in caps below that and then "300m/1000 ft" below that - All white text. I've seen some with Seamaster written in red but that's not the case with this one. I'd upload a picture to help but I can't seem to find the camera cable. The battery appears to be dead but that's about all that's wrong with it. I've read that the waterproofing gaskets or whatever needs to be replaced every so often. I doubt that my dad would have ever taken it to get serviced so is that something that I would have to do? How much would getting all this done cost?
Hey guys, I was at a wedding in Toronto over the weekend and decided I wanted to bring my AP diver. I didn't want to bring another watch with me so I left Ottawa with my diver on the OEM rubber and then dressed her up with the steel bracelet, I think it looked not out of sorts with a suit. The SS diver with bracelet looks much dressier and in fact there were numerous positive comments, here are a few pics of the diver on bracelet worn with a suit!
The 23-300 is obviously a manual wind caliber and on my 2593 the crown is so small and also a bit recessed in the case that is is quite hard to wind. Hence I usually only wind it a few turns just to keep it running. A few times I have tried to wind it fully though but I always have to stop as my fingers get numb (it also takes quite a force to wind). I have wound it as much as it should be fully wound comparing to other calibers but the spring does not tighten. Does the 23-300 have an overwind protection that makes the mainspring slip in the barrel like automatic movements have?
I am new to the patek world and I'm sure some may know about this already, but I just realized it this morning that the stylus that came with my patek 5990 is 18k white gold. I noticed the little stamps on the stylus this morning when changing the date on my watch. It is unbelievable that something so small would have so much detail and for patek to finish it in solid gold. So elegant. Do all patek watches with date come with solid gold stylus?a couple pictures below
