Date adjustment at 5.30?
Hi guys!I was told by my AD to set the watch at 5.30 (am or pm) first, if I want to change the date. The reason, when asked, is because at that position, the movement's gears and springs are free and sort of 'less tensity'.How true is this? I understand the logic of those positioning, only that I dunno how correct is the position would be.Thanks!

Hi All,I posted a couple weeks back about which Hamilton I should get for my first Ventura. I decided on the Ventura Chronograph. Picture is in the post; it's absolutely superb so far. I had a question that I wanted some help with though; I noticed that the face of my watch does not have the Hamilton logo across the top of it, I have verified with Hamilton that this was indeed a manufacturers error, and they have offered to replace the watch with another one. I can't seem to decided whether I want to keep my rather unique Ventura, or whether I should get the new one? Any suggestions, or opinions?Travis

Little question regarding the 5960 and 5980
Greetings TRF,For a long time I've had this question and I always kept it to myself because I thought I'd find the information elsewhere but, alas, I couldn't...Could anybody please explain to me how the chronograph on the Patek Philippe 5960 and 5980 models works? From my observations I came to those two conclusions:- There's no regular second hand on the watch, the big one is used for the chronograph complication.- The bullseye subdial contains both the chronograph minute and hour register.With those information, I'd like to know if the chronograph's minute hand has to do two complete turns before making the hour hand move. If so, how does one know if the hand is on its first turn or its second? As well, is it possible that the conclusions I came to are wrong? That watch is quite incredible to admire but I always feel like I can't appreciate its view enough since I always have to ask myself those questions...Here are some pictures to amuse you my friends, thank you for taking the tim

Deployant buckle uncomfortable....
I love my PAM104, but sometimes the deployant clasp bothers me. The clasp is a little too curved and digs into my wrist or the two push buttons do. All of my straps are compatible with the deployant so I don't quite want to swap the buckle out for a tang buckle. At home it's ok, but at the office I may be putting to much pressure on it. How does your deployant feel?
