Seiko SRP713 wrist watches news:
Hi to all,I have been given a Rolex with a 1560 movement which is running 12 mins fast an hour.I am firstly going to demagnetize it and check it's running from there, does anyone have experience of this movement and what to look for?The hairspring does have a guard over it, but cannot see if it is affecting the spring at the moment, I need to strip down to that point and see.I am going to service it ...very slowly ...and give the case and strap a good overhaul. This is my first venture into a Rolex, so it's a bit of a learning curve.Any help greatly appreciated..
I recently acquired my first Longines watch. A Hydro Conquest L3.644.4.56.6.I am looking to purchase a Watch Winder but am unable to find a clear recommendation on a brand that is suitable for this watch. Can someone provide some insight into this for me?What brands will work with the Hydro Conquest? Are there any particular features I need to look for in a winder with respect to the Hydro Conquest?Where can I find the proper settings (i.e. # revs/day, CW/CCW rotation, time on/time off, etc.)?IMG_0112.jpg
I tried on both the 15400 and 15450 RO today and the 41mm seemed too big and the 37mm too small. Considering trying to source a 39mm 15300. Curious to see what thoughts are on 15300 blue vs. Dual Time blue. Assuming ballpark they are in same range price wise what do people prefer and what would hold value better? I know the dual time is a little thicker and I may prefer the simplicity of the 15300. Thoughts?
Hi all Rolex aficionados! I am quite a newbie in this forum - a newbie to Rolex really. I have always wanted one. I could never pull the trigger - until now. I have come into good stride in my career and I thought what better way to mark this than buy the long coveted dream watch!I am a lady and my choice is the 31mm with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. After that, I am stuck . I cannot for the life of me, decide on the dial. After trying on different dials in AD, I may have narrowed it down to:1. SS with bronze dial with diamond on VI (technically, this is actually two-tone as the bezel is white gold, but for this purpose, I just put SS)2. Two-tone Everose gold in sundust/pale pink dial with diamond markersI suppose my question is - what would you go for - SS or TT? Plus what do you think of the everose? It¡¯s really pretty, but someone commented to me that it is ¡°on the way out¡± as YG is ¡°coming back¡±? Your thoughts much appreciated!
https://davidsw/product/rolex-32...ith-blue-dial/I would love to find out who actually buys this piece. It would have to be someone beyond dedicated to have the most expensive stealth mod I¡¯ve seen.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
