Hello all, new guy here and getting the itch for a new watch soon. Well I have a Rolex, an Omega Seamaster and a few Victronix already. I'm looking for as the title states a Doxa. Unfortunately the ones I see are mainly just dive watches in the USA where I'm located. I have looked and have researched a little of their collection and seen that there are others available but not in this market. So my question is can anyone point me in the direction of a reputable dealer where I can order and purchase a non US model from?I have looked on eBay but not to comfortable with that route. Great job, Orient, on my watch repair
I put my Orient in the mail April 10th and got it back today, which I think is a decently fast turn around. (here's my original post: watchtalkforums.info/foru...htm#post595972)The problem was that when you turned the crown to wind it, nothing happened. When I originally bought it, I think I read movement description and thought the only way to wind it was though wrist movement, which made me like it a bit less....A few months later, I was reading the description of the watch at Orient, and it specifically said it could wound by hand. That's when I contacted Orient.Anyway, it came back in perfect shape. No scratches, abrasions, or any damage whatsoever, and of course, it now winds by hand!So, good job Orient on, a). fixing the problem, b). doing it quickly, and c). not damaging it with scratches.

Daytona 116500 alternative.
Hey everyone, I have been on the hunt looking for the Ceramic Daytona and like many others getting one soon (at msrp) is tough. So I have been looking at other chronograph watches and have really fallen for the Audemars Piguet 41mm SS. Just got back from Vegas and tried the AP on and it is nice. Have not bought another high end watch except Rolex and would like some advise. I know many of you have multi brand collections. The price I was given was a good out the door with two extra links, 5 year warranty. I think msrp was around $24,600. That's a big price for SS watch! Would you guys do boutique or trusted seller? 5146p vs 5196p
Hi guys, This is my first time posting and viewing the Patek Philippe section as i am a rolex guy. Last week i decided to drop by an AD PP, and saw their platinum collection. i liked the 5146P and the 5196P most and can't decide which one to buy. My daily watch is Rolex GMT IIc. I've never owned a watch with leather straps and i don't own a watch with a light dial (most of my watches have a black dial). Out of these two which one do you find more appealing?(picture are from the internet)5146 is the one with the moon Phase.Thanks
