Once again Rolex has made a significant financial pledge to new Fisher House facilities. Rolex will be supporting the opening of a new Fisher House in both Dallas and Los Angeles in 2008. The Fisher House Foundation is dedicated to serving the families of our service men and women who have been injured or wounded on duty and require hospital care. A Fisher House provides military and veteran families with a ¡°home away from home¡± while visiting a family member in a nearby VA Hospital. Since its inception in 1991, over forty Fisher Houses have been opened and by the end of 2010 as many as 59 Fisher Houses may be opened. No Luck at several AD's this evening
Had some time to hit the mall tonight in an upscale area of town and shop some national and local jewelers.The three which carried Hamiltons wouldn't budge off retail.The fourth jeweler didn't carry Hamilton watches, but had Tag Heuers, Tissots, and Ray Weils. The lady clerk there was willing to deal. Tags aren't my style, so strike one. She didn't have any Maestro RW's, so no luck there. Of the Tissot's, I owned 2 of the 3 automatic models on display, and the third was something I'd never wear (ugliest Tissot I've ever seen). Just out of curiosity, I asked how much she wanted for a black dial Powermatic 80 model and she came in within $90 of some internet sellers.Business must be booming to stick to retail. Sad thing is, if they would have offered a decent price on the lower end Jazzmasters, I would have bought it on the spot. Too bad the place with the Tissot's didn't have a Visodate in stock, I would have taken that instead.

To trade or not to trade
Hey Guys- My current collection:1) Daytona SS bezel White Dial2) Sub LVC3) 5712RI have been tempted to flip my 5712R (strap) to a blue dial 5980 on bracelet...I bought the 5712R as a nice change up from the Daytona and Sub LVC...but now thinking I might want to trade to a 5980 blue dial on bracelet. The look of the rose gold is awesome, but the feel of the 5980 is amazing!I typically wear business casual cloths...Nice button down and jeans type...Thoughts? Should I do it?
