Breitling A69048 wrist watches news:
In our November-December issue, on sale now, R¨¹diger Bucher, editor-in-chief of WatchTime’s German sister magazine, Chronos, speaks to Breitling Vice President Jean-Paul Girardin about a wide variety of topics, including the development of its in-house B01 chronograph caliber. Click here for excerpts from the interview.WT: Breitling presented its first in-house movement in 2009 ¨C the caliber 01, a chronograph movement with automatic winding and column wheel. When was the decision made to develop this caliber, and what is the strategy behind it?JPG: The idea had already been around for quite some time. You’ll recall that in 1999 we had begun to have all of our movements certified by COSC as chronometers. Even then we were asking ourselves what we would have to do as an independent company to ensure our long-term success. It was clear that it would not be appropriate to make everything ourselves, since there are highly specialized, first-class suppliers for so many individual
Just wanted to show off a new band I purchased from Scott at times of plenty. It's a gorgeous Admiral, which replace a cheap, dull and lifeless old Speidel. I love what it did for my Benrus 39 jewel model! The watch really pops now. (Sorry for the lousy pics of what is really a very nice looking watch)It has a gray dial and diamond indices. And the odd thing about this watch is the number "39" on the dial is actually in a light gray. Every other 39 jewel model I have ever seen has the number in red. You can barely make it out in the last picture.I have already recieved compliments on this watch now, something I didn't get before...
My watch has been at Clearwater for over a month. They said four weeks which has passed. If I call or email to see how we are looking is that frowned upon?
I recently brought my speedmaster professional moonwatch into the Chicago boutique for a warranty repair. I bought the watch from an jeweler in the Chicago area. Unfortunately the jeweler is no longer an ad. The hour regester sub dial was no longer resetting to true 0 and was only resetting to about 1/8 of the way between 12 and the 1 hour marker. I'd been putting off the repair since I was enjoying the watch and it was only a hair off. The people at the Chicago boutique were really nice and I ended up getting the watch back in just under 3 weeks which is much shorter than they quoted (under promise and over deliver). It also seems like a better experience than others have had on the forum.
After years of flipping and experimenting all types of Rolex watches I decided that this is my perfect two! The now discontinued SDc4000 and the new Datejust 41. I can honestly say that IM DONE! For now lol..I feel blessed to own these classics and I¡¯m grateful for the information obtained from the TRF. Thank youAttachment 1Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
