Any nickname yet?Hey guys,Forgive me if I'm reposting a topic already discussed (did a search). I've been barely concentrating on the newest BaselWorld models, but when I heard about a blue Yachtmaster (not the large vii) I had to do a search to see what the hype was about.Here is the "official Rolex style shot". Not enough to see what this blue really looks like. ie. Does it captivate like the green Sub HULK did to me when I saw it in the flesh? Well wait no further. Any comments and suggestions about after market straps such as Gunny and Horus straps for AP and other brands?

It's not a secret that the watch industry is in trouble for the momentSome brands do barely sell watches, others offer models in steel that used to be in gold, or some brands use lesser finished movementsOr look wat lange did with the 'cheap' smaller saxoniaAll of this to survive in these hard timesWell I had contact with some Patek dealers and Patek is lowering the production. an AD get's lists with watches they will get in the next weeks / monthsThe last 'list' was was one with quite some cancelled watches.For example, the AD was promised 5 world timers , 3 Nautilus, 4 chronos and 9 Calatrava ... 5 went to 4, 3 became 2 etcI guess they don't want too much stock at the ADSo probably some sought after pieces with waiting lists will even be harder to get

Thoughts about first Patek purchase
Hello All,This is my first post. I am very interested to expand my collection to include PP. I have a Navitimer GMT I would like to dump but I still want a watch with a GMT function.My question is this, would you rather have a Rolex GMT II BLNR and a 5167, or just a 5164?Cheers.
