- Over all the watch is beautiful. Keeps accurate time. The face is accually more purple than blue which was not dissappointing to me but just beware, because the picture is deceptively more blue!

- I received this watch yesterday. I love it!!! I have good vision but I will be 50 next month and the little numbers are hard to read without my reading glasses. I don''t have to wear my eye glasses to read this watch. It is modern and creative looking and it fits my personality. It is beautiful and practical at the same time. I am sure I will wear it everyday.

Montres Breguet S.A. held a gala dinner at the Louvre Museum in Paris on June 17, highlighting its role as a major sponsor of the restoration of the museum¡¯s Department of Decorative Arts rooms and galleries devoted to the art of French living in the 18th century. Those rooms, encompassing 2,500 square feet of space, had been closed to the public for nearly 10 years during the renovation. The entire area has been revamped and is now reopened to the public.Breguet¡¯s patronage of the renovation began in 2009 under the direction of the late Nicolas G. Hayek Sr., then CEO of Montres Breguet and chairman of the Swatch Group. The firm contributed several million euros to the project. The Louvre restoration is the latest in a series of patronage projects Montres Breguet has undertaken in Paris and Versailles in recognition of the strong connection of Abraham-Louis Breguet with those places. Hi, I have just pulled the crown out of my watch to adjust the time and the crown and attached stem came out of the watch. I assume a stem must be secured into the watch somehow but I have no idea how. I pushed it back in and it feels quite secure but would prefer to explore how to fix it properly.I would appreciate ideas please unless it is a job for a watchmaker. Thanks
I am a new member to this forum. I've picked up some great tips and advice from lurking on here over the past few weeks and I hope you all don't mind but I'd like to ask a few questions.I've wanted to own a PP for about 15 years now, but as with most luxuries in life, cost has been a factor to consider. I now find myself in a position to be able to spend a little on acquiring what I consider to be a nice timepiece, but being a novice in this area I'm a little unsure about what I am doing. This PP I am interested in is being offered for sale by an independent jeweller I use (not an AD). I mostly purchase items for my wife from them and I do trust their advice. It is a Pre-Owned Gondolo (3648J) mechanical movement, Sapphire Crystal case, screw down crown, roman numerals with an alligator strap. (I haven't work out how to upload a picture of it yet). Now before I get into an in-depth conversation with the retailer I'd like to know if;a) there is anything you guys can tell me about this typ
