Breitling Colt Ocean A17035 Pre-owned

Tough Choice...looking for opinions...
Hi All, I've got this cool Constellation that I'm in "tough choices" mode with. Looking for opinions. The watch keeps good time, but is filthy and needs what my local watch guy has phrased an "overhaul". I've known it was dirty for some time, so haven't worn it for weeks, just let it sit in the box looking pretty. The tough part of this is that my guy said that he doesn't believe the watch is worth the 550 that he'll charge me to do it. Of course, I'm certain that I'll eventually come off the money and go for it (unless one of you has a compelling argument why it may not be money well spent...) The choice part is several fold. 1) Is it okay to put it off until the fall, after we've spent money on vacation and all of that? It would sit in the box, unmoving until then. 2) Is it wise to have the face restored or replaced? The face is another discussion altogether, it's tres cool. Need help with watch strap
I'm going on a trip in about a week, and I want a new brown strap for my watch to match my shoes and belt. I plan on buying a higher quality strap in the future, but for now I'm going to pick something up cheap at my local watch dealer. What color and texture should I get to complement this watch? Dark brown? Medium brown? Alligator? Regular leather?Here's my watch:Thanks.

Omega winding problems
Hello, My late 1960s Seamaster Deville will not wind anymore. the crown wont turn and when i put it up to my ear i cant hear the rotor spin anymore. the best way I can describe it as "locked up". the watch will still tick but only for a few seconds. I know when I would manually wind the watch it would "lock up" but after letting it run for a couple minutes you could wind it again. I did have the watch cleaned a few months ago. The mainspring is prety weak because it wouldnt run more than a few hourss when not being worn. thanks Joe

Leather Strap for Omega Speedmatser 3573.50
This is my first Omega (maybe my only?). Found one brand new in wrap overseas. Anyways, I'd like to get a nice leather strap for it, but I'm not sure what leather strap models will fit the 3573.50. Also, do you know if I can pick up a leather strap with the Omega watch clasp (rather than the buckle)?

My Submariner Story
As a kid I would go to D.C. on school field trips and we would buy fake Rolexes. I was drawn to them because of the unique Cyclops date and the fact that maybe you could fool someone in to thinking it was real. As I grew older and graduated college I remember being on the subway on the way to the US Open with my Dad and seeing a guy (not much older than I was at the time) wearing a Black SS Submariner. The watch was perfect. It was luxurious but not too formal. It was sporty but not too casual. It was a Rolex but not as ostentatious as the all gold ones you would see Gordon Gekko type people wear. I began to wonder if it was fake or how did he get the money to buy that if it was real, more importantly just how far off his lifestyle was from mine.
