Breitling P1936212/Q540 wrist watches news:
Just a few months ago we reviewed the Halios Tropik B, one of the more interesting bronze dive watches to drop in recent memory. With a relatively small cushion case, an elegant vintage inspired dial and an interesting bronze alloy, it's the kind of unique design that comes along once in a while and leaves a lasting impression. This seems to be the MO for Halios, whose watches are always different from the herd and priced very fairly. In tandem to the Tropik B, Halios released the Tropik SS, or stainless steel model. Though the same watch in terms of general DNA, the different material, and inclusion of a rotating bezel, make the Tropik SS a different experience. When you browse contemporary sub $1000 dive watches, you are likely to find something missing; dress divers. Sure, there are brands that make smaller or downsized models, but they are still clunky, tool watches. Hearkening to the mid 20th century, the Tropik SS has an elegance that while not a "dress watch" in the classic sense
I'm contemplating (wife is looking over my shoulder) a white face ss Daytona. AD's here in Canada want $11-$12K when the price list says $9K or so (they can get bent).I'm looking for the following...1) An AD that has one in house and wants to move it.2) Will discount (??) off of the actual retail listed price in the most recent price list.3) The watch is brand new.4) Will ship to Canada.5) A straight shooter when it comes to business and one that forum members trust~most important. From what I've read depending on the individual state and AD there are pockets of these watches that are just not moving. So I'm contempalting (wife is still there, I can feel her breath) picking one-up over the Exp II white dial. Please let me know.
Hi All,Have fairly stupid question on diversi recently developed an unbearable urge to purchase another divers watch (again), and i'd like to try some inexpensive and somewhat classic variant. Off cause the SKX007 attracted my attention, but also i came accross this: Invicta 9937OB Pro Diver Collection Swiss. Now, what would you think/recommend? they are in the same preice nishe and both look great, also I am a bit concerned that INvicta looks a lot like Submariner, while Seiko looks original (+ for me).. My current divers is Seamaster, and i do have a plans of aquiring submariner, but this is a long term. More that this, i am looking in somewhat cheaper watches to be involved in some sport activities without too much concern of damaging them (i was told that playing golf while wearing your automatic is not good for the watch?). And yes my diving experience is limited by be an 'office desk diver', but does it matter? Thanks in advance for your opinions :)
I have noticed that some AP's come with a green box and some with a dark brown box... what is the difference? Is one an older style box and one newer?
Hi all,I have a speedmaster and was thinking it would look cool on a mesh bracelet. I'm still somewhat new to Omega and am wonder if there are any recommendations in terms of mesh bracelets... does Omega make one? Or would this be an aftermarket part? Is there a best one? Please let me know and if you have one on a speedy please post a pic! Thanks!Greg
