Breitling c71340LA/a689-6zd wrist watches news:
I bet you think it's a watch. As you can see my speedy is on a vinyl record of the actual recording of the first landing on the moon...I got this when I was 10 yrs old just after the landing.....boy am I getting old.....Just was wondering if anyone else has this kind of memorabilia.....
from pocketlint:18 October 2006 12:29 GMT - It seems designers have been racing each other to design the world's smallest LED wristwatch, and the competition has been won by Tokyoflash Japan. The Restu has a futuristic design, with a line of lights corresponding to digits. The lights race up the watch and stop at the number to be read. This is repeated for each number to tell the time. Not quite as simple as glancing at a traditional clockface, then. As for statistics, we've got them. The Retsu measures 8mm and weighs 40g. It comes with a chic black suede strap, and costs 14,900yen.
I am starting to take a fancy to AP watches. I use to have a Panerai Power Reserve that I purchased from an AD for $10500 and ended up selling it for $5250 taking a huge loss and I do not want that to happen again! My question is do AP hold their value quite well?
2 weeks ago I purchased my 5167a from an AD and they fitted the strap. I quickly realised after wearing it that fitting in an air conditioned AD it was perfect fit, but in normal temperatures it was too tight. Went to my local AD today as the new strap had arrived for my 5167a (at a cost of ¡ê180). This was not the AD that cut the first strap where I bought it from, as it is much further away and she was wanting to send the watch to Patek to get the new strap changed over as she was not confident in removing and fitting a new strap to the lugs. When I arrived I explained the situation regarding fit and also I was nervous about getting any marks/scratches when changing strap and sizing. He explained that he has never scratched a watch before (in 30 years in the business), but no-one can guarantee it 100 per cent as we are all human. I explained that I am OCD with watches and asked him to tape the lugs and be very careful. I asked him to confirm before he started that the watch had no m
