Breitling a71340L2/ba14-1zd wrist watches news:
I had Cartier make this image for me because it was the best possible visual for the event. With Cartier getting really serious about amazing in-house made movements and complications they are sending a set of the watches on the road in the good 'ol US of A for us to see. The Cartier road show is coming to a city near you. Can you spot some of your favorite Cartier manufacture movements?? There is a glut of tourbillon watches, and my favorite, the Cartier Astrotourbillon. Can you name them all?You won't have to in order to check them out. If you want to view the collection of beautiful, technically interesting, high-end, and not to mention rare, Cartier manufacture movement watches, look below at a list of Cartier boutique stores near you for the dates that they will be there.-Cartier, Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois oSeptember 30th through October 6th-Cartier, Fifth Avenue, New York City, New York oOctober 8th through October 16th-Hyde Park Jewelers, Cherry Creek Shopping Cen
Morning All~About a year ago I purchased on Ebay a 14K Omega with quartz movement for $350. A nice looking watch, I thought. There is no model name other than "Geneva" on the face. I put a new skin strap on it and a gold signature buckle. Total investment - about $550.I decided to send it to Switzerland for restoration - it kept good time but the crown was unmarked and "moved around" in its place. It is there now so no photos. The cost of repair is to be c 330 CHF for repair or service and 570 CHF for dial restoration (I didn't see anything wrong with the dial but they say it is stained and there is a problem with the dial feet and recommend refurbishment). So, c 909 USD final bill. My question is a simple one: do you knowledgeable aficionados think the final investment of c $1,600 would be well spent? (Leaving aside issues of whether or not I can afford this). I recently spend $800 US at the Swiss factory on my 1964 Constellation and am very pleased with the result (one retur
As some of you know I am interested in the Casio G Shocks now. Now I already know that I want to get the G 2300. But after some research I saw a really cool one which is called DW-8800 codename. From my understanding is that this was a limited edition. I tried doing a search on the web but couldn't find much on this watch.1) Does anyone have more details on how morse code is used on this watch?2) Do they still sell new ones or are they all sold out? Thanks
