Hey Guys - I met just a few hours ago with the President and Executive Vice President of Rolex USA. I selected five questions from those offered up by our members. Here they are with the answers:1. How is Rolex progressing on creating a red and blue ceramic bezel for the GMT II? The answer I got was pretty much the same as last year. Red is difficult. So is blending two colors in ceramic. So if progress has been made (and my guess is there has been progress) then there's nothing ready for Rolex to talk about. Which means a ceramic Pepsi bezel GMT could come as early as Basel 2010 for all we know....2. Will the DJ I continue or will it be discontinued in favor of the DJ II? The Datejust II is doing very, very well for Rolex. However, Rolex feels that the oversized watch trend is reversing a bit. In this economy, people with money don't want to draw attention. Here are the latest pics of my grandfathers Ultra-Chron. Unfortunatley I was unable to get a full service on it because my usual watch repairer has a waiting list of 6 weeks before he could start work on it, so I had a quickie service done locally and a polishing of the crystal just so I could wear it for christmas, I will get the full job in the new year. At the moment it has a Hadley Roma medium padded strap which I think seems a little small on the watch, I have a Hirsch Ascot arriving in the next day or two and maybe I will try it on, if not guess I will look at something else. My first ever wrist shot have never took one before of any watch.

Advice needed
As some of you may know, I am planning on getting as my 3rd watch a 5167R, but lately with all these threads about full RG 5980's I have started to be liking full gold pieces, the 5980-1R being totally out of my financial league I found one which is quite cool, on their website the pics are wrong it looks like very red gold when in fact it's pink gold.So that watch is the AP Jumbo in RG with blue dial, it's more expensive than the Aquanaut but it's possible to get one new at around 35K in euros, when for a brand new Aquanaut it's more around 27K, both are beautiful, the PP would get probably more wrist time as the Jumbo would not be suitable for all occasions, so wanted to ask you guys what you think knowing that I have the 5712 on bracelet and the 5726 on strap.I love the Aquanaut with that brown rubber strap and chocolate dial it goes very well with RG, and the Jumbo in RG and that magnificent blue is very cool also, just would like to know your opinions as if I need to concentrate o

My previous post got a little hectic and I wasn't able to ask this question so I figured I'd start a new post. Most of you said that I should get the DaytonaC and sell it.
