This is a great forum and i've gotten a ton of good information here on other pieces before. Now, I have a guy that wants to trade me a Gevril GV2 4108 for my DSLR camera (worth about $400 or so) . He sent me pictures of it and it, says its real, has "papers" and original box...but i'm still skeptical because of the price difference. Looks like the watch is real from the (limited) pictures i could find, but wanted to know if there are any tell tale signs. He says he's a watch collector for 16 years and it's time to thin out his collection. He's willing to meet me in person, which is good, but i want to be prepared when we do meet so i can KNOW if it's real or fake. Was thinking of weighing it compared to a real one? That ever work?
