Breitling C4935053-B914-728P wrist watches news:
Well my Friends it's time to make up my mind! The new black (non LE) SMP will not be out till at least October / November 08 and by then the price rise will have taken effect (in about 2 weeks I think!)I seriously don't think I can wait that long after waiting this long already.I will decide between one of these...2254.50 Black SMP (needs no intro)or...42mm PO on bracelet (black bezel and white numbers)I really like them both! No surprises there thenMy choice is this, If I went for the 2254.50 then I would have enough left (Around £500-600) to buy another watch. I've seen a nice Oris or maybe see what I can pick up pre owned?However...If I go for the PO I will not have that extra cash!So...How would my dosh be better spent in your opinions?A/ Buy the 2254.50, save a load of cash and buy another watch as well?B/ Buy the PO and only the PO.The depth rating is not an issue for me since 300m is more than enough. Is the Co Axial worth all that extra cash? or would that cash be better
went to a IWC ADs for Portuguese Auto 500107 last week, and they're only willing to give 10~12% off. is this the avg. discount nowadays?? coz, with that suggested price and the tax included, I could get a much better deal from the IWC ADs in Asia .......
Here we go, I posted photos of this one back in December after I first purchased it and it was looking a little tired with a Seiko bracelet, a missing pusher, a badly damaged bezel insert, a broken spring and cracking glass. (see first two photo's)The story of it's life is quite interesting and is as follows.......It was purchased new back in the late sixties by an Australian adventurer by the name of Dennis Bartell, from a shop in Adelaide. He was a bush pilot in those days and wanted something that was accurate and reliable. Several years later in 1985 he decided to do something totally different and thought a little walk in the desert from the North of Australia to the South, a distance of about 3000 K's (1900 Miles) might be fun, and so organised himself, starting off from the Gulf of Carpentaria. After a few days travel he started to get a pain in his leg so decided to use a trolley to carry all the extra food and water he would need for the long desert stretches between civilisa
Realise that my 5711 (white) is not the most loved in my collection as I have been considering various trades. None have come live as realise it's rather special after all and it gets a fair share of wrist time and trading a patek for a diffrent brand feels wrong. But having a 5712 as well I would something a bit diffrent. I have the opportunity to trade against a 5711r but need to add aprox usd 8000 in between. Advise please ...Many thanks in advance and happy holidays
Hey guys, there were pre-Basel rumours that the Smurf would be discontinued but this was never confirmed. It's had a ten year run and I can't imagine it would have be in great demand due to the price. It's a beauty and my favourite Sub. Would be a shame if those rumours turn out to be true :( Having said that, has anyone tried to order a Smurf from an AD recently?
