Breitling A2332212/B637-SS wrist watches news:
Well, it truly has been a while. I remember my last post had to do with my invicta and how the bezel had come off. Now I am back to post on some greats news, at least for me. I have always been a great admirer of Omega and although my family is a Rolex family and love them to death, I never quite found myself falling in love with Rolex. Granted, Rolex's are beautiful especially the submariner which was the one that I was looking for. Nevertheless, my heart truly was with Omega and the seamaster line. I just got off a cruise and this time I had planned, like my father did many many years ago, to go to St. Thomas and purchase an Omega. I went with the intention of looking for both the Seamaster 300m and the Rolex Submariner. I always steered away from the Planet Oceanmy true lovebecause I felt the price was to much. Well, when I walked in to see how much the submariner was I was I reconsidered and although I would have paid what they were asking for, I then realized, holding the Rolex,
That our amigo here in OMEGALandhas A BIG MOUTHSee what'd I tell ya.. Have a nice day paland It's good talkin' with ya here ZIN
When I went to the discount house to send my Erard off for adjustment today, I came home with yet another Hamilton. I don't favor automatic chronographs because of their necessary thickness and mechanical complexity - but I couldn't turn down this 38mm (I believe discontinued) one for about the cost of the Valjoux 7750 movement. Besides, I will probably never use the chronograph function, as I only use that when I am on my morning power-walks with my dog, when I always get sweaty and so need a bracelet. Anyhow, I've given up on finding a Large Boulton for a price I'm willing to pay for a quartz reintroduction, so this is my last watch for a while. I think it's pretty nice without losing the tool look, so it will find a regular place on my wrist when I'm in casual attire. The 38mm size and the leather strap make it ride lightly and comfortably on my wrist.
.....Got a group of 12 watches for 20 bucks ....in it was a nice auto Movado ( NOT a "museum" model) and this sweet Elgin from about 1926and this clean 17 jewel movement runs like a champ..and when I turned it to the side ....lo and behold ....there were 2 colors of metal !and on the front of the bezel, top and bottom .....a bit of green enamel still clings to the metal.....and I apologize for the terrible photos......did them in a hurry this afternoon, and had the camera pushed to 6400.....and perhaps another problem I have to check out ...but a long story ......
A week after receiving his 6 watch shipment that were already sold, this is what his Rolex watch case looks like. Sad...Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
