- I love this watch and it looks great on, too! The first time I wore this watch I got 3 compliments in one day, 2 from perfect strangers. You can dress it up or dress it down, as well. I definitely recommend it.

- Compliments both casual and dressy attire. Feels comfortable and safety latch adds further tection from band snapping off. Piece keeps excellent time. Light colored face makes watch easy to read.

Breitling a2432212/b726-1LT wrist watches news:
Just got into the game of vintage watches.I realize I should probably have done more research but this Omega Automatic just caught my eye and stuck.Good or bad deal?Year's supposed to be 1952, W253734 case serial, W14K Gold Filled, case size 32mmx39mm and cal 342.Unfortunately can't take pictures of the movement as I don't have the tools to open it.Paid US$400 for it.The look of the watch definitely does the trick for me but it would be brilliant to know a bit more about it.Cheers,D
Hi all. I have my grandfather's Hamilton Coronado which he got new c. 1929 when he went to college. It sat in a drawer for the last 12 years, and is in great shape - it started immediately upon winding, and is keeping great time. However, it needs a face crystal since it is missing a sliver on one side - not really noticeable but definitely cracked. The watch has great sentimental value (and is beautiful) so I would like to wear it everyday as my grandfather did, so I definitely feel that the crystal needs replacing. I've done some research on line and cannot get a real good idea of how to find a crystal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, should I have it cleaned or otherwise leave it alone since it seems to run fine? Thanks. - john(BTW, I also posted this request on classic vintage watch forum, but this appears to be a more active site - sorry for the double post for those who frequent both)
I got a couple of these rubber watches for my wife who is a nurse. She wears rubber gloves a lot and can't wear a bunch of jewelry. But I have started to wear a black one myself - all the time. These little things are great. I got mine at Brookstone. They flash the time and date every second - alternating each second. So, with a glance you get both time and date. And, they seem to be as waterproof as you need. This is the only 'watch' I wear in the shower, at the gym, in the hot tub, in a rain storm etc. And, I wear it along with my good, larger, 'real' watches. A lot of sports guys are wearing this sort of thing and also that Star Trek crystal thing from Mars. And, with all the 'Live Strong' rubber bands out there, it doesn't seem to be unusual. For $20, this is a great little 'time piece.'
I found this watch that was my grandfather's in my parents safe. The engraving on the back let me know that he got this when he left Japan in 1947 after being stationed there as a military policeman. It appears to still run but I was in a rush and didn't have much time to inspect it properly (hence the crappy photo). Can anyone help with more info about the model or about the Viceroy watch company in general?
Please forgive me for jumping in and asking a question without an introduction. I am seriously considering a 5167 1A. At my AD today, I noticed the watch jumped to the next day at two minutes and ten seconds before midnight. Is this normal or am I nitpicking? Thanks.
