Breitling Breitling 656 wrist watches news:
The streamlining of Girard-Perregaux, which began last year with the introduction of the Hawk collection, continues with the debut of the new Traveller, an updated version of G-P’s ww.tc collection, at Baselworld 2013. The first two Traveller models are a chronograph with world-time function and a moon-phase model with large date. The new-look Traveller collection features sleeker lines and a softer, more ergonomic silhouette for the 44-mm-diameter cases; long lugs with graduated bevels that accentuate their convex curves; and an interplay of polished and satin-brushed finishes on the case. Also, both the movements’ rotors and the watches’ folding clasps echo the “arrow” shape of Girard-Perregaux’s iconic Three Gold Bridges. The Traveller Moon Phases and Large Date has a 30-part steel case and is powered by Girard-Perregaux’s manufacture automatic caliber GP03300, which has 35 jewels and a 46-hour power reserve. On September 17, 2009, the Seiko Spring Drive Spacewalk watch that was taken into space by Richard Garriott was auctioned at Antiquorum’s New York sale. The sale generated lively bidding, and the selling price exceeded both the reserve and the pre-sale estimate. Seiko has now donated the sale proceeds to the two charities that Richard Garriott supports, the Nature Conservancy and the Challenger Center for Space Science Education. In early 2010, Seiko will release a 100 piece commemorative edition of the Spacewalk. Richard Garriott¡¯s intention has always been that the watch that Seiko created for his space adventure would be made available to a wider public as a way of promoting space travel and the furtherance of space science. This Limited Edition commemorative watch turns this ambition to reality.Below, the Spring Drive Spacewalk sold at the Antiquorum sale
I just bought a late 60's Constellation SN 25xxxxxx. SS 168.010. Watch had a spot on the dial, which really was much less noticeable than the photo. So far so good. Upon closer examination. The spot appeared to be from glue due to a botched repair of the 12 O'clock hash mark. Looked more like a blacksmith repair than a watch repair. Otherwise this was a nice origonal dial. This plus an undisclosed case issue are leading me to return the watch. As this is a nice running 564 cal. Neither the spot, or the case issue were deal breakers, but taken together, they were too much for me. This is sort of like some of those cars that look great from 40 feet. I hate to let it go, but as is, it just isn't ever going to feel right on my arm. Here's my question. Due to my budget, I may have to accept a watch that will have to have a dial refinished. If that becomes necessary, I'd like to hear from members who have gone this route. Good, bad, or indifferent. Please give me the benefit of your experie

Just curious if anyone has both models and if you don't find them redundant due to their similarities.
