Patek sacrifice, or was this the best decision I could have made?
I have been saving for the 5135p, i was about half way there. Would have the rest in SeptThen one day I looked at my 8mos pregnant wife. Mothers day is comming and her birthday in 2 mos.. Never has given me crap about anything, and she is the primary $ earnerI just yesterday purchased her a Patek with my watch $Now, she knows how badly I wanted the watch, and she knows what a Patek is, and I always detected a bit of Patek desire in her voice. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I pulled the trigger on a nice 4905.. So it looks like this year wont be my Patek year, but at least we will have one in the house.. Maybe If I find a less expensive one I like I still might get one, however I believe in saving for exactly what you want or you will regret it.. lemania movement in Speedies!
hi all..guys I have a few questions regarding Omega Speedmaster movements...the hand-wound ones..1). when was the Lemania movement stopped being used?..or which last year had them and whether any limited editions or any special editions still carry them at times?2). which movement replaced Lemania movement and what are the major differences?..the Lemania is such a covetted movement then is the new onw living up to the name?thnx in advance.

Regulating a Speedy Pro
Anyone have any experience regulating a Speedmaster Pro using different positions? I can get my Rolex to speed up a little by leaving it overnight face down. My Speedmaster is running a little slow and I wonder if anyone had any suggested positions, or is it more trial and error?
