- I purchased this watch as a birthday gift for a friend and she loved it. After I figured out how to work the clasp I love it. It is quite a handsome piece of costume jewelry.

Hi AllI am currently looking at the JeanRichard brand but know very little about them and information/real life pics are hard to come by. So I just wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with the brand (Dennis, I know you have a very nice DJR) and pictures etc. I am aware that the are in the same family of companies as GP and it is certainly evident in some of their case designs. Also, I am interested to understand if the JR1000 movement is in fact an in house movement and where this brand might sit within the tiers (in the context of the one below posted by Thwizzit). From what I have seem, as limited as it is, I would have gone with 3 assuming they are making their own movements, otherwise 4. Just received a minty 2534.50. A nice sibling for my 2254.50.Here are some pictures from Scott Grossman's original listing (hope that is OK... I am a terrible photographer and his pictures were great).btw...Scott was very good to deal with... highly recommended.
I've had quite the Panerai collection but I've found myself increasingly only wearing one. The 372 has ruined the brand for me and I can honestly say that (for now) I'd be content if I only had the 372 as my sole Panerai - and it's not even gold! Have you been ruined by a particular model?
My favorite vintage watch has always been the 5512 and 5513. While I associate these references with Steve McQueen, I wonder what watch he would wear if he were alive today and just hitting his prime as an actor? And yes, I thought about posting this in the Vintage section But McQueen would be a modern actor in the scenario I have imagined. Your opinions are greatly appreciated.
