Hi All,This is my first post ..pls go easy...I have been after a Nautilus for a long while now..I have just been emailed by a dealer informing me that he has one in White Gold, as i like them...it is pretty much brand new (so he tells me)...I had a question on price if I may....it is up for $31k....does this sound a good deal to you guys?cheersG
I was at an authorized dealer yesterday that carries Patek, Omega, Blancpain, IWC - just to name a few of their luxury brands - and my Jacques Lemans 2834 Big Day caused a mini-sensation with the staff.Despite the holiday crowds, they were actually passing around my watch and scoping it out. (I took it off to try on a 50 Fathoms). All were stunned by the quality - though they'd never heard of the brand (lol!).This particular watch is part of the Geneve series with a wonderfully decorated movement. Jacques Lemans offers very good value on their Swiss made pieces. So when you hear this kind of stuff on TVland, I can attest it's true. Very strange, indeed. Not some of my better pix:
I bought a Speedy automatic 3510.50 in Nov 06, earlier this year it went to +15s a day so got it regulated by the Omega service centre here, took a royal 6 weeks. I've given this watch to my son as he needs to time his exams using the chrono function. (yeah it's just an excuse but what the heck...)Anyway, found out one of the chrono subdials is misaligned (the hour one at 6 o'clock). Unfortunately it's just out of warranty now. What can be done with it? Is it expensive to fix?N.B. When I took this photo end of Oct it was like 1-2s off, now it's like 4s off.
Hello everyone I have owned my Deepsea about 8 years and wear intermittently it¡¯s never missed a beat. However it stopped last night. I just looked and I observed the second hand move ANTI clockwise for a few seconds then stopped again. Ideas please. Thanks SSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
