Breitling A2736223/F532 wrist watches news:
....yes another incoming for me this year. Hopefully the last till summer next year as I'm skint!Been thinking of a Tag Heuer Monaco, Rolex Hulk or BLNR but didn't want to commit to a purchase this year. Then this beast arrived at my AD. Not sure what drew me to it as I hate black watches but this is something else! The ceramic flips from a deep black to a shade of grey, it has polished and brushed finishes on the casing...it shouldn't work in theory but after staring at it for a while I'm drawn to it. It's almost as if Omega stole some of Rolex's fairy dust and sprinkled it on this piece. It's been a while since I've been so mesmerised over a watch that I couldn't wait! Don't get me wrong, I love all the other watches in the collection but this is definitely special in its own right. I present to you the Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon:Now this puts me in a predicament. For insurance purposes, I can't insure the older Speedmaster or Navitimer as this needs to be covered instea
I don't remember how I acquired this watch, but I've had it for quite sometime with hopes of restoring it. I don't know much about the watch and was hoping you guys could help. I don't see any other obvious markings on the watch. I am clueless as to how one would open it or if I should even try. Perhaps that should be left to a professional. The band is busted. I looked up the patent # listed on the band, here is the link.I guess my first question, is it real? What year was it made? There seems to be a small spot on the dial to the left of the "Seamaster" logo between 7 and 8like Thumbelina spilled her morning coffee. Hopefully this can be cleaned.I think with a new crystal face and band it would look great!
As I'm thinking about my next AP, I'm thinking of one of these. Also, what about a Schumacher TI? If I'd go for the ROC, I'd probably sell the SS 15400. Thoughts?
Any watch winder recommendations for a ROC? I have Orbita Spartas for my 2 Rolexs. I'm not too concerned with case or looks, since I'll probably put it inside a drawer or safe. Just want to get a good 2nd home for my baby. While I'd spend $$$ if it's really worth it for the longevity of the watch (since I sometimes don't get to wear it for a several day stretch), I'd rather not break the bank too badly. Thanks in advance.
