- I bought this watch for my brother for his birthday. The watch is huge, but makes it easy to read under water and is very stylish.

Breitling A2736303/B823 wrist watches news:
When thinking about how our watches are made, we tend to all have an image of a little man sitting at an oddly shaped table toiling away. This man represents the dedicated craftsman that we would like to think is taking full responsibility for the quality and accuracy of our beloved timepieces. The truth however is that only a small number of watch companies employ this craftsman manner of production. While it tends to yield a higher quality product in the end, it is not efficient.Henry Ford showed the world that using the concept of interchangeable parts combined with the production line, you can enjoy the benefits of industrialization through far increased productivity. While this concept has helped shaped the world we live in and enjoy, it is not necessarily the best manner of producing watches you pay top dollar for.You see, a craftsman making watches goes through every step of the process to put the watch together. From assembly of the movement, to decorating the face, to placing
As I understand it, in metallurgy stainless steel is defined as an iron-carbon alloy with a minimum of 11.5 wt% chromium content. According to wiki, it is said that stainless steel does not stain, corrode or rust as easily as ordinary steel (it "stains less"), but it is not stain-proof.I do wish it was stain proof since to call it stainless as opposed to stain-less does give the impression that it is relatively stain proof, which it isn't.Why am I having a minor rant? Well, I ain't tellin'.Y'all have a nice day palsZIN
These are some of my vintage watches and movements, all of them need work, some more then others. I have not really had the time to work on my own watches, the customers watch always comes before your own. I will get around to them though.(Enjoy the photos, and videos)(Videos below, sorry for shaking a bit)YouTube - MOV02301.MPGYouTube - MOV02300.MPGYouTube - MOV02299.MPGYouTube - MOV02298.MPG
Looking at purchasing an Emergency or Emergency Mission. The watch will be worn while flying as well as during normal activities like showering, some swimming, basically an everyday watch when I am not wearing a suit. I see that the Emergency is only water resistant to 30m! (3 bar), which would really disqualify it from showering and swimming, correct? I understand the WR rating is based on pressure to the case and not actual water depth. The Emergency Mission on the other hand is WR to 100m, which seems more suitable for the above activities. Thoughts and experiences welcome. Matt
Decided to take my 20 year old 16570 polar to my annual ski trip this week . Swapping out the steel bracelet for Everest rubber which transformed this 16570 into one of the most versatile rolex sports watch. Easily fitting it over ski jackets. Polar dial blends in with thick powder perfectly .
