Breitling A13370 wrist watches news:
I saw two SS Daytona watches sell today on Ebay. First was a 2007 black dial with all boxes, papers and tags, no reserve-$6453.00The second was a 1997 black dial Zenith. All boxes, and paperwork, no reserve-$8100.00I am only sorry I did not see them until the auctions were over.
Hello to all,First post. Hope I'm doing this right.I recently acquired a working old Elgin wrist watch from the late 30's. The watch has hooded lugs which have built in pins (not fixed lugs but short pins on the inside of each lug).I can't figure how I am to attach a strap. Perhaps this setup was meant to use with a metal bracelet. I've uploaded two pics to clarify. I'd like to use a leather strap Can someone give me some help with this? Do I have to drill out the spring bar hole or is there a special spring bar with holes on the end? Thanks,Dan
I'm thinking of changing the strap on my 5205R. Are there any good alternatives to patek straps for patek watches with the quick change spring bars? What I mean is that your typical aftermarket watch straps will not have the apertures in the strap to accommodate the quick change spring bar. Any thoughts? Thanks.
I've always like the clean look of Panerai watches, nice simple, nothing too crazy, and I have been looking for something as a treat for myself recently and was bouncing back and forth between the Yachtmaster, Navitimer, and the Luminor Marina. As you may have already guessed since I am posting in here which one I went with!So I took the plunge yesterday and got my first Panerai!a PAM00499. Looking forward to chatting up with the rest of you guys to learn more about these amazing watches!PS: Where is the best place to get a deployment clasp? I hate having to use the buckle to take this off each time.... Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't want to get a fake, or be duped by a good replica. I want an OEM, brushed finish if possible.
It is a truly gorgeous watch in its simplicity but I defiantly need a more comfortable strap than the OEM one any suggestions?
