not quite vintage Glashutte diver
Here's a Glashutte diver I picked up a few months back. Has an ETA 2824 that runs within COSC specs (+4 seconds in 24 hrs).
Here's a Glashutte diver I picked up a few months back. Has an ETA 2824 that runs within COSC specs (+4 seconds in 24 hrs).
My First Patek (5712)
I picked up my highly anticipated 5712 this week and what an experience. I couldn't be more thrilled with the look and feel of it. It took a year and a half for the call, but it was worth it. The sales experience at the Patek salon was beyond perfect, and I was treated to champagne and an overall purchase encounter befitting of the brand. I was also gifted a patek tie, a travel case, a free service, and a pair of patek gloves. Now back to the watch. It's definitely much lighter and more fragile feeling than I'm accustomed to wearing. But then again I've had one model of Rolex or another on my wrist 99% of the time. It goes without saying that the watch is stunning. The bracelet is among the most comfortable I've ever worn, and the dial changes color depending on the lighting, which is sublime. I'll have more to say after I've had a few weeks worth of wear.
