Christopher Ward C900 Worldtimer Review
Around this time every year, we have the chance to show you Christopher Ward's newest mechanical creation in collaboration with Johannes Jahnke. First was their C9 Jump Hour, then came their C900 Monopusher chronograph. Continuing this series is the new C900 Worldtimer, which takes a different approach to a multi-timezone watch and has a very unique and sculptural dial. These watches are particularly notable, especially given our general philosophy at worn&wound, as they tend to challenge what is generally perceived as possible in this price range. By creating bespoke mechanical complications, even if based off of ebauches, and maintaing prices well under $5k, they seem to be doing what so many larger brands cant or wont do.Inside, the new JJ03 caliber, base ETA 2893, has a couple tricks up its sleeve. Just in Elgin with 715 movement.
Here is my latest restore project that I just got. It was in very bad condition; case scratches, crystal scratches, dial edges need some help. The movement is a 715. To my surprise there were a few small black dots on the watch case that I thought was dirt but would not clean off. It was not dirt it was tiny welded beads that where bubbled dots. I was able to get them off ¡°used a file¡± and polish them out and that¡¯s the beauty of Stainless Steel. How the heck did the small weld bead dots get there did someone get electrocuted with this watch on? I hope I did not buy a cursed watch! Overall I¡¯m happy with the end results.

I just got this watch from a relative, it belonged to my late uncle who passed away in the 70s. This watch has been in a drawer for over 40 years. Can anyone tell me when this seamaster was made, or if it's even a genuine Omega. Any help would be appreciated.~Ron
