My first Longines was just dropped off by our USPS guy - 1960s Admiral 200 Automatic.
1960s Admiral 200 Automatic was just dropped off at my office about 1.5 hours ago.I'll be honest - I just bought it mostly for the complete set of boxes, tags and open papers, from mid 1960s as I am ultimatelylooking for a larger Longines from that era. However, the watch is nice enough that I will probably keep it for a while......(at least until I will find the 'right watch')......and then.....who knows....I might just keep it anyway.On another note.....I want to ask for an advice from the resident Longines experts: - I am looking for a watch that is 37mm +. I already have manual chronosfrom 1965 (Omega Speedie & Breitling Navitimer).....hence I prefer to stayfrom another manual model. Is there any sports watch or a diver that Longinesmade in 1965 (must be 1965) that you could recommend ?If there is no sports watch - I guess any 37mm+ 'automatic' Longines would do.(any complication would be a plus, of course) Thank you in advance.

Looking for watch strap suggestions...
Hi All,I am looking for either a leather, or silicon strap for this watch. It has a 20mm lug width, and I am looking for a two piece strap such that the caseback can be viewed. I have used Martac two-piece as well as others, but ideally, I am looking for a strap (Hirsch?) whereby the strap fits flush on the lugs and watch case, similar to a solid end link would on a stainless bracelet.Any suggestions on brand, type, vendor welcomed-Sheldon

YG Sub - black or blue face/bezel?
I'm considering buying an all yellow gold Submariner. If I do, it might be new, or it might be a vintage (such as a 16618).I can't decide which face/bezel color - black or blue? Both are beautiful, in different ways. Both face colors go great with yellow gold, but they are very different looks. Gold/black is probably more subdued/classy, and gold/blue seems more striking, but it's almost too much color.What do you all prefer? Which do you think is the more common color?Thanks!Ken
