You know, that soft material with which you polish your much-loved Omegas.Which types do you use pals?I know there's been a lot of talk about Cape Cod cloths over the years but I've never used one. What do you dry your watches with after they've had their TLC wash? You won't believe what I use but it works for me. Indeed I mentioned it to a friend and he's using it too - the side of a clean shirt which I keep solely for this purpose. With this I take off all the moisture after rinsing my watch. It's lint-free, soft and very absorbent. Then I use Goddard's polishing cloth for silver and jewelery.How about you pals? did breitling and heuer share movements for their auto chronographs?
i was looking through a couple of old playboys from 1969, and i came across two separate ads for breitling and heuer touting their brand-new automatic chronographs. both had the winding crown on the left side of the case. so i was wondering if maybe they shared the same valjoux or eta movement. i've read about the auto/chrono race of the late 60s - i know that zenith and seiko were both trying to beat each other to the punch. but i'm not familiar with either breitling or heuer's participation. can anyone enlighten me?

GMT BLNR Today or Wait for SS Pepsi
Looking for input here, it's something I'm seriously considering.In short, I have the opportunity to pick up a BLNR from my AD within a month's time. I could have had one last weekend but I told my sales guy that given how close we are to Basel, I just had to wait and see what happens. If the new release was going to be a Coke on jubilee, I would have ran back to him to get a BLNR as fast as possible. The Pepsi release mixes things up though.I'm already on a wait list for the Pepsi with small deposit at an AD in TX where I have some family. They wouldn't take full payment since I guess they haven't received the manifest yet and probably don't know for sure when the new GMT is coming in and how many they're getting.From my perspective, the attractive qualities of the Pepsi include:1) classic color scheme.
