Introduction - Question re: Vintage 96
Hello all i've lurked here for a number of years - i wish i would have bought some vintage rolexes back in 2013 when i was really actively looking at some and registered here!(currently on a two-year list for a 116500LN)I want to get a vintage patek 96 to dip a toe into the vintage patek game. 5712 Incoming!
As some of you may know I have had a few 5712s. My first Patek was the 5712g, a very understated and imo underappreciated watch. Last August I bought a 5712a which I planned to wear for my wedding and didn't. Regardless, I loved it. Ended up trading it for a larger acquisition. Everything happens for a reason, Today, I am happy to announce that I have completed my 5712 desire with a new and sealed 5712a Tiffany. It seems that throughout my years of collecting, it's the pieces I have ended up with three times are the ones that are meant to be. That being said, cheers to the 5712 that will remain.JPS

Hello mates, well, I'm picking up a brand new PP 5167 tomorrow and unloading a Rolex to do so. It came down to either the 5164 or 5167 but decided the 5167 was a cleaner look and had trouble justifying the extra 20K + for a dual time zone. Love that watch !
