Trying to identify Longines watch handed down in family
Hello, I am looking for information on a Longines watch passed down in the family, but even on the web I am having no luck. It's Longines 18K gold, round dial with seconds hand dial, regular numbers, no model number but I have serial number in the inside back cover and on the manual wind mechanism (serial number is 6650676). Strap is gold with a little logo or number in a diamond shape inside the clasp but I can't read it. Photos taken with mobile phone so not very good, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm getting nowhere in my search so far. The Longines year identifier suggested to other users of this forum says 1943 approx but I have browsed all the list of round dial watches and I can't find it at all. hi all ive sized many braclets and always follow the direction of the arrow out and reversed the procedure to put the pin back in.is that right or should i be putting the pin back in following the direction of the arrow thanks

I haven't worn my RG Skeleton for more than 7 months now while it lies peacefully in my bank safe. I almost forgotten I own this watch until a new incoming thread in here reminds me of it. So finally I took it out to wear and do a quick strap swap to the original brown strap and Viola! It feels like a new watch I just bought. And want to share this pic.
